| Titanic
Description: | This is the view from the top of the slipway where Titanic was built. The people on the right are part of the tour. The coach on the left, which brought us down here, is reversing up to the top of the slipway, while the Guide is explaining about Titanic. When he finished, we all climbed aboard the coach and were "launched" down the same slipway as Titanic! ie. the coach accelerated down the slipway to simulate Titanic's launch.
Unlike Titanic, we stopped short of ending up in the water. | Submitter :strider_uk - More Photos from strider_uk Last Update: 2005/5/30 14:59 Hits: 49476 Comments: 0

| No.1 Drawing Office
Description: | I recently took the bus tour of Harland & Wolff as part of the Titanic, Made In Belfast celebrations. This is the first of many pictures of a close up of Harland & Wolff, as of 30 March 2005.
This picture is the room where the plans for Titanic were drawn, the no.1 drawing office in the main office building of Harland & Wolff. As you can see from the state of the walls, the building is in need of repair, which is supposed to be taking place in the future. Check out my other pictures for exterior shots of this building | Submitter :strider_uk - More Photos from strider_uk Last Update: 2005/5/25 0:30 Hits: 43440 Comments: 0

| Deck Chairs
Description: | Hi, I was just looking over your web site and thought I might try to upload a photo of a couple Deck Chairs I made. They are made out of solid bar stock steel and weigh about 280lb. each. The finish is a nickel and copper electro-plate. Any other chair builders out there?
